Notable alumni of Queen Mary University of London

Dr Joseph Dion Ngute, Prime Minister of Cameroon, holds an LLM in Law from Queen Mary University of London, awarded between 1977 and 1978, supported by Chevening Scholarships. Since 1997, he has held senior roles within the Cameroonian government, including posts in the Ministry of External Relations and the Presidency of the Republic, and has acted as Cameroon’s representative on the UN Human Rights Council as well as the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

Chevening applications for Queen Mary University of London QMUL welcomes applications from all Chevening-eligible countries in any 1-year Taught Postgraduate courses in all disciplines subject. All Chevening applicants are encouraged to select QMUL as their first preference in their Chevening applications.

This year, QMUL will also fully sponsor 4 Chevening Awards to Chevening Scholars pursuing the following courses, but Chevening scholars can study any 1-year Taught Master’s not limited to the Partner courses below.
