International Students House

Study in the UK with the support of a Chevening Scholarship from International Students House (ISH).

International Students House is a charity and student residence in the very heart of London. It was created with the aim of improving international understanding and friendship.

International Students House was founded by Mary Trevelyan, who had been Warden of Student Movement House, and was driven to create a ‘centre for students of all countries’ in London. Today, it’s a bustling modern enterprise that provides unique opportunities for international students, from accommodation to trips and events, all organised and discounted for their benefit.

Who do they sponsor?

International Students House sponsors two Chevening Scholarships for applicants from any Chevening-eligible country or territory.

To be considered for these awards, there are no course restrictions. However, preference will be given to those who choose to study at one of the following universities:

  • King’s College London
  • Imperial College London
  • City University London
  • London South Bank University
  • Queen Mary University of London
  • Royal College of Art
  • University of Law
