As Chevening Scholarships are fully-funded, your award includes the following:
There is no British embassy in Republic of Congo, so these awards will be overseen by the embassy in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
English language: There are limited English language test centres available in this country, so it is strongly encouraged that applicants organise a test at the earliest opportunity. If there are no tests available, you may be required to travel to an alternative country to take a test. Please see our English language page for further details on the test providers accepted by Chevening. Applicants will be expected to meet all costs associated with travelling to an alternative country; however, should your application be successful you may be eligible for a discretionary reimbursement of some travel costs. You will receive further information on what reimbursements are available to you should you be selected for a Chevening Scholarship.
UK visa: There are no UK visa processing centres available in this country. If your application is successful you will be required to travel to an alternative country to apply for your UK visa. Applicants will be expected to meet all costs associated with travelling to an alternative country; however, scholars may be eligible for a discretionary reimbursement of some travel costs. You will receive further information on what reimbursements are available to you should you be selected for a Chevening Scholarship.
TB tests: There are no TB testing facilities available in this country. If your application is successful you will be required to travel to an alternative country to take a test.
